Over the past few years, we have intentionally reduced the size of our practice to maintain the high level of personalised service our clients value. As a result, we work with a limited number of clients and are often at capacity. We are generally best suited to investors, business owners and individuals seeking ongoing tax and strategic advice. We have a hard close on new client onboarding and prospective client consultations between July and October each year whilst we focus on servicing our existing clients during tax season.

From November onwards, we review enquiries and reach out to individuals and businesses we believe are the best fit for the openings available at the time. Whilst we may be able to assist with your current tax affairs from November onwards, availability cannot be guaranteed and depends on both capacity and suitability.
Freshwater operates a little differently from many accounting firms. Clients select a dedicated tax month each year, whilst continuing to have access to our team throughout the year for questions, tax planning and ongoing support. Most communication takes place securely through our online client portal, creating a more organised, responsive and personalised client experience. If your matter is urgent or time-sensitive, engaging another adviser may be the best option.
